4.25-inch minor axis diagonal mirror mounted in cell. Bought in
1980, part of a Dobsonian mirror kit from Coulter. Coating
mostly good. Dark patches are missing coating. Optical
quality unknown, but I used this for many years in a
17.5-inch Dobsonian telescope. (Now using a smaller diagonal)
This one is probably good for something larger than 17.5-inch f/4.5,
or perhaps for a folded refractor or small coelostat. $200
Can Would consider trade for equatorial platform. Approximately
3 pounds shipping weight. Shipping included in purchase price

SCT in excellent condition ($2576-WITHOUT optional field tripod, $3040 with)
There are absolutely no cosmetic blemishes and the optics are VERY clean (from
good care, they have never been touched) It comes with the JMI EZ-align
illuminated reticle-scope for accurate polar\ alignment (never used $373),
Orion off-axis guider ($200 used once), an extra hand controller(intermitant
so I purchased a new one this year, $100), Scopetronix Dec Fix Kit to improve
dec ratio for guiding($114), telrad ($65), Quickcam VC webcam and software
converted for astroimaging ($75), 8x50 finder with crosshairs, heavy duty
field tripod, superwedge ($680), star diagonal, visual back and Meade series
4000 12.4mm($139) and standard 26mm Plossl eyepiece. Total value approx $4786.

I have an extra meade 25 mm super plossl for sale. I have both
types, the older "long style" and the newer
japanese model which is shorter. Both are in excellent
condition, although the newer japanese has less barrel markings
because it is afterall newer. Both are 1.25" barrel size (of
course...). I am asking $80 dollars plus shipping including a screw cap
for the eyepiece. You can have your choice of which one you want.

movement is a full 360 degrees. Altitude movement is
limited to 15 degrees. No modification to
your Dobson is required. The platform run with motor controller cicuit board
and steppers motors. I made the platform myself from the
mechanical circuit board the mechanical
hardware and stepper motor supplied by TL System. I have this platform
for one year. My price would be 350.00 $ but negotiable,

I've never touched the optics at all.....suffice
to say there are a very few "tiny" specs of dust or eyelash oil or?.
Only visible under some lighting angles. Not worthy of touching the
glass in my estimation. There is also a number of tiny polished
dots along the edge of the captive screw ring from the EP retainer screw.
Other than the aforementioned specs and dots, it is cosmetically and optically
near perfect. Sorry, I've mis-placed the papers and one end cap (I've
substituted an alternate), but I do have the original box. Asking $460?
